Cooking Connection: Taco Bar
A taco bar is a meal of hospitality and inclusion. It is:Customizable – Everyone can create their own meal, meeting different needs and preferences.Affordable & Abundant – It can easily be shared with many people, reinforcing the theme of open-handed generosity.Community-Centered – Like the banquet in Luke 14, it is a meal where everyone is welcome, no matter their status or background.

1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheese
½ cup sour cream
½ cup salsa
½ cup guacamole

Fresh cilantro or lime wedges
Rice as a side
Instructions:
Cook the meat (or beans) with taco seasoning according to package directions.

As you eat, reflect on the question: Who might I invite to share a meal with me this week?
